Traditionally mainly Hottentots and Bushmen (or San Khoikoi) lived in south western Africa. Now South Africa has a diversity of cultures. The colonial has ensured that the South Africans have ancestors from Africa, the Netherlands, Great Britain, Germany, France, Malaysia and India.

A guided tour takes you to the rural area and shows you how some of the Africans live. The tour includes a visit to the Cultural Village in Vaalwater to learn about the local culture and see how they express themselves through their different dances. During this visit you will be guided through an African settlement and you can enjoy traditional South African dances. The dances, music and rhythm of the drums take you to back to ancient times.
