Chalet Oom Piet is the original farm house that was built in 1916 by Oom Piet. He was the first owner of Kololo Game Reserve. In September 2009 Oom Piet was fully renovated. The two spacious bedrooms offer a sleeping place to 4 persons. Both bedrooms have a private bathroom and toilet. From the large porch you can sit and relax while you watch the game nearby. You overlook the waving, green gras, bordering the Kololo river. There is a big chance you will see Kudu or Impala quitely grazing close to your verranda, unaware of your presence. Oom Piet is decorated very tastefully and has a fully equipped open space kitchen.
