Kololo guests are welcomed in our new reception area, built in 2011. In this building there is a large desk, a reception area for guests, a large office and a curio shop. In the curio shop guests can buy caps, shirts and other clothing, decorated with the Kololo logo. There is also a nice collection of local souvenirs that we sell to support the local community.

With the construction of the new reception the stream that ran in front of the old reception is restored to its former glory. The water in this stream comes from the river and runs down completely by natural decay. It runs along the reception and then debouches into the dam. Here, the animals can enjoy the refreshing water right in front of the reception.
