Kololo received four star grading for the entire lodge! 

In September Kololo was once again visited by the Tourism Grading Council of South Africa. A few years ago Kololo already received the four star grading for the restaurant and the Deluxe Villas. We can now proudly announce that, after a recent assessment, we have been awarded the Four star grading in the Lodge category. In the words of the Assessor: Malcom Cowan “This property is exceptionally well managed and a wonderful guest experience. The high levels of luxury, superb cuisine and highly trained and warm, friendly staff are all the marks of a successful lodge.”

Kololo Jewellery for Sandra Reemer Foundation

The Sandra Reemer Foundation in The Netherlands has adopted a local community project, initiated by Kololo, whereby local women are encouraged to participate in making jewellery, made of beads of natural materials. This jewellery is on sale in the curio shop at Kololo. In The Netherlands the jewellery will be displayed and sold by the sponsor of the project. The first package of jewellery was presented to Sandra Reemer who accepted it with great enthusiasm from Kololo’s Frits Slootweg.
